On March 25, 2023, the Diocese of Venice in Florida will hold a Eucharistic Congress at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center and Amphitheater at the Luminary Hotel, 1375 Monroe Street, Fort Myers, FL, from 9am – 5pm, (doors open at 8am). The theme of the Eucharistic Congress is The Word Made Flesh. You may have noticed information in your parish bulletin and The Florida Catholic. The Diocese of Venice in Florida Eucharistic Congress is a part of 3-year National Eucharistic Revival centered on the Eucharist launched by the Bishops of the United States. The first year of the Revival is the Diocesan phase, the second year is the Parish phase, and the third year is the National phase.
The purpose of this Eucharistic Congress is quite simply this: To help attendees to come to an ever-deeper faith in, and love of, the Real Presence of the Lord Jesus, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Most Holy Eucharist! It will be a time to exercise our rich Catholic faith, to grow in solidarity with one another, and especially to encounter our Eucharistic Lord more deeply. In the afternoon, men will gather in break-out sessions with the following speakers:
Father Donald Calloway, MIC, will present – Saint Joseph and the Eucharist.
Father Calloway is a best-selling author and world-famous speaker.
Mr. Hector Molina will present – Men of the Eucharist: Taken, Blessed, Broken, & Given.
Hector is an internationally known evangelist, teacher, apologist, and podcaster. Please see related information including schedule, registration, speaker pictures and bios, information pertaining to the Luminary Hotel, etc. at https://dioceseofvenice.org/eucharistic-congress/. No matter your age or circumstance in life, you won’t want to miss this extraordinary opportunity of grace to become, ever more and more, men of the Holy Eucharist!
