On Sunday, April 16, we will celebrate Jesus’s love and mercy. At 3:00 pm, we will pray together in the Church the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
We will also be able to receive the sacrament of reconciliation and pray before the Blessed Sacrament in a Holy Hour of Adoration. During the Holy Hour, Deacon Miravalle will lead us in a reflection.
During the Divine Mercy Sunday, we receive God’s Mercy, and at the same time, we are encouraged to be merciful. God's mercy requires us to put love into action. We must make ours the Corporal: 1. Feed the hungry, 2. Give drink to the thirsty, 3. Clothe the naked, 4. Shelter the homeless, 5. Comfort the prisoners, 6. Visit the sick, 7. Bury the dead; and the Spiritual Works of Mercy: 1. Teach the ignorant, 2. Pray for the living and the dead, 3 Correct sinners, 4. Counsel those in doubt, 5. Console the sorrowful 6. Bear wrongs patiently, 7. Forgive wrongs willingly.
