We do a lot of Parish things

• Provide ushers for over 240 Masses
per year at the  Ave Maria Parish Church

• Provide financial assistance to local seminarians

• A brother Knight and his family lead the  Rosary every Monday evening, in the Ave Maria Church

• Have a Vocation Committee to help identify and support young people with vocations

• Instituted the Altar Server of the Year Award

• First Holy Communion and
Confirmation picnics and dinners for recipients and families
      

• Provide 4th Degree Knights  in Formal Regalia for pecial Parish events

• Assist in special Feast Day processions  

• Knights help on numerous
projects around the Church

• We grill more than
5,000 pancakes and
sausages patties for
the Parish Pancake
Breakfasts

We do community things

• Memorial Day free hot dogs and snacks at
South Park—almost 1,000 hot dogs!

• Golf Outing that raises $30,000 for our charitable works

• Donate more than $10,000 per year in Immokalee

• Provide support to Guadalupe
Education Center





• Staff and run the Ave Maria polling location for  all elections

• Tail gate parties at AMU
football games

• Assist with traffic control at Festival of Christmas

• Grill steaks at Sunshine Steak Cook off




 We support Pro Life Activities

• Provide parking assistance
for people praying  to end abortion at Planned Parenthood

• Funded Pro-Life billboard on
Interstate 75

• A brother Knight maintains the
kiosk of pamphlets books etc. in the Church Narthex

• Contribute to Parish Pro-life Committee










 

We do family and youth things

• Assist needy families with stipends and job referrals in cooperation with Parish

• Scholarship assistance to needy

locally raises and donates more than $20,000 per
year and gives back nearly 10,000 volunteer hours
per year, we have a job for you!

To join the Knights you need to be a practicing and
practical Catholic man 18 years or older.
